It has been my dream for years to link my shows to the idea of what a child can do following the show. I’ve always thought that television used in an appropriate manner can inspire, not put us all into a somnolent state.
So, it has been a delight to see how many of you have gone to the Arts n’ Crafts page of my site. This has been closely followed by my guilt, that I haven’t put anything on it yet.
So, an initial version of arts n’ crafts is up. The ideas suggested are hopefully just a launching pad, for your own creative ideas that moms and dads have come up with for many centuries.
I really want to help nurture a creative environment where children can use the Land of Imagination shows as a launching pad to telling their own stories and coming up with their own games.
As Einstein said…
“If you want your children to be intelligent, read them fairytales. If you want them to be more intelligent, read them more fairytales.
Imagination is more important than Knowledge
Knowledge is limited
Imagination encircles the World
If at first the idea is not absurd
Then there is no hope for it.”
Albert Einstein
